• Baptismal Sponsor: Gottfried Rehbock, son of Adam and Maria, at Himmel's Church, 31 Mar 1799. 6 • Baptismal Sponsor: the daughter of Baniel and Maria Barbara Doffy?, at Himmel's Church, 20 Apr 1800. 7 • Probate, 28 Jul 1832, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. 3 8 Letters of Administration were granted to Peter Thomas [son] and John Bush [son-in-law] in the Estate of Godfred Thomas, late of Mahanoy township (the widow having first denounced). Michale Brosious and Abraham Snyder provided the securties in the sum of six hundred dollars. • Property, 1830, Upper Augusta Township, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. 9 10 Before Gottfried's death, he lived on a farm of about 300 acres in Upper Mahoney Township. It consisted of several tracts and was adjacent to land owned by Jacob Thomas, Michael Brosious, Peter Snyder, John Adam Rebock, John Rebock, George Delp, Conrad Rebock and Jonah Repler/Resler (Rebock?). After his death, a group of twelve men determined that the land could be divided into three tracts. The first tract of about 114 acres was valued at $8 per acre, and was puchased by Jacob Thomas. The second tract of about 45 acres was valued at $4 per acre, and was purchased by Peter Thomas. The remaining tract of about 135 acres was valued at $5 per acre, and agreed to be sold. All proceeds of the land purchases were divided among the widow and children. ![]() Johannes married Anna Maria, daughter of Unknown and Unknown. ![]() |
